Administrative Law: Government Decisions

The state is powerful, but not infallible. Administrative Law is your shield against the "System." Whether it's a parking ticket or a denied building permit, you have the right to fight back.

David vs. Goliath: The Process

So, you received a decision you hate. Don't throw it in the trash! The clock is ticking immediately. Here is your battle plan:

The 30-Day Rules
  • Day 1: Receipt

The day you receive the decision. The timer starts NOW.

  • Day 1-30: The Challenge (Vaie)

You must file a challenge to the agency that made the decision. It's faster and cheaper than court.

  • Day 30+: The Administrative Court

If the challenge fails, you go to court. You usually have 30 days from the *new* decision.

Common Battles

Parking Fines

Was the sign visible? Were you effectively parked? Details matter.

Building Permits

Denied because your roof is 1cm too high? Bureaucracy at its finest.

"Bureaucracy is the art of making the possible impossible."
