Hello! I'm Mart Lehtma. You might know me as the voice behind these articles, but my path here hasn't exactly been a straight line. I'm a firm believer that you don't have to fit into just one box. Why choose between the courtroom, the code editor, the music stage, or the boxing ring when you can inhabit them all?
I thrive at the intersection of disciplines. Here is a breakdown of what keeps me busy:
My academic journey is rooted in Law. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Law at Tallinn University, specializing in legal theory and international European law. I'm also expanding my horizons with an Erasmus+ program at the University of Valencia in Spain.
While I study the laws of nations, I also write the laws of logic. As a software developer, I've worked with Estapartments, maintaining and developing digital solutions. My stack includes Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, and TypeScript. I love building things that work—whether it's a risk model for trading or a sleek web application.
With nearly seven years of martial arts experience, I have dedicated myself to kickboxing and Muay Thai, competing successfully in both local and international arenas. I am honored to hold Estonian Championship titles and to share my knowledge and skills as a coach. Muay Thai develops strength, endurance, precision, and mental discipline—qualities I consider essential for everyone's development.
I wish to inspire and encourage others to engage in martial arts. You can read more about my recent competitions here:
When the gloves come off, the saxophone comes out. I graduated from Lasnamäe Music School and continue to play and perform. You can even catch some of my tunes on my YouTube channel, @mart_sax.
Welcome to my world. I hope you enjoy the blog!
